A loving mum-of-two was told she has eight weeks to live after a shocking cancer diagnosis. Christine Emery has suffered with a bad back for a long time but when the pain became worse she knew something was not right.
The 50-year-old went to see her GP on multiple occasions, and was told she may be feeling symptoms of arthritis or gallstones. But then last month Christine's entire world shattered when she was told she has stage four pancreatic cancer.
Speaking about when she was diagnosed, Christine said: "It was only the fourth doctor who actually examined her stomach. The first one said it could be arthritis, the second one said it could have been gallstones. The third one I think sent her for bloods.
