'Incredible!' - Manchester United youngster Di'Shon Bernard earns rave reviews on loan at Hull

Manchester United loanee Di'Shon Bernard has had fans talking after his man of the match performance for Hull City against Blackburn Rovers.

It proved to be a scalp for Grant McCann's side, who were buoyed by the completion of Acun Ilıcalı's takeover at the MKM Stadium, as they saw off Tony Mowbray's promotion hopefuls.

He played an integral role in their 2-0 win and ensured that they kept an invaluable clean sheet in the battle for survival as he turned an almost certain goal round the post after Rada Khadra rounded Tigers goalkeeper Nathan Baxter.

As part of their defensive display, they kept prolific talisman Ben Brereton Diaz quiet, extending the gap away from the relegation zone to seven points with Peterborough having two games in hand.

Bernard's display earned him the SofaScore man of the match in just their seventh win of the season.

United fans were delighted with the youngsters showing and received rave reviews from the ecstatic Hull fans.

Hull boss McCann has already sang the praises of the 21-year-old following displays against Fulham and Bournemouth, he told the club website in March: "He’s a bit of a throwback, isn’t he?”

"He just loves defending.

"He loves getting his body in the way, winning headers and the physical side of the game.

"Him and Jacob (Greaves) have come up against probably two of the best strikers in the division in the last two weeks in [Aleksandar] Mitrovic and [Dominic] Solanke.

"They are two young centre-backs and I thought they both did well."
