LOS ANGELES — Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer publicly discussed sexual assault allegations for the first time Tuesday, stating in a seven-minute video the rough sex he had with a woman he met was consensual.
Bauer released the video titled "The Truth" the same day the Los Angeles district attorney declined to pursue criminal charges against him after a woman wrote in a restraining order request she had been punched in the face, choked and knocked unconscious during two separate sexual encounters with Bauer.
