There's more than burgers and fries on the menu for In-N-Out managers; there's a six-figure paycheque, too. Store managers at the popular burger chain now earn more than $200,000 a year on average, according to an In-N-Out spokesperson who confirmed the figure to PEOPLE on 17 September 2026. That is a notable increase from compensation reported nearly a decade ago, putting the chain's management pay firmly into six-figure territory.
The company says the pay reflects a philosophy established by its founders. 'Our founders, Harry and Esther Snyder, believed not only in taking great care of our customers but also in taking really great care of our associates. Their philosophy was to treat associates like family and strive to be an outstanding employer, and paying higher-than-normal wages was one important part of that philosophy,' the spokesperson said.
