For many of us, Sunday nights just aren't the same without a new episode of Happy Valley to sink into. For three extraordinary seasons, the phenomenal drama kept viewers engrossed with its various twists and turns, not to mention the cast of brilliantly written characters.
Those looking for one more dry one-liner from Sgt Catherine Cawood (Sarah Lancashire) are now in luck, as a hilariously accurate impressionist has just shared their spot-on impersonations from the iconic Calder Valley set show.
Comedy actor Kieran Hodgson, who recently starred in Prince Andrew the Musical has left people in stitches with his take on dry-throated Neil (Con O'Neill), and idealistic yet hopelessly unconvincing liar Clare (Siobhan Finneran).
Alison Garrs (Susan Lynch), who last season saved her murderer son from life imprisonment by shooting him dead, is given a comically sinister vibe by Kieran, while his typical teen take on Ryan (Rhys Connah) is pitch-perfect.
Catherine's less competent, yet often overly arrogant, colleagues Andy Shepherd (Vincent Franklin) and Insp Mike Taylor (Rick Warden) are also given the comic treatment in Kieran's vid, as is ruthless criminal Darius Knezevic (Alec Secareanu).
Naturally, the final dramatic showdown between Catherine and her villainous arch-nemesis, Tommy Lee Royce (James Norton), also features, swapping the tension for 'n**head' insults.
Fans have been left howling at lines such as 'why don't you leave the real work to a series of interchangeable Northern policemen?' and 'Ryan says he's got really long hair now and doesn't he deserve a chance to see it?'
One person chuckled: "Had me at 'Murdered up in Mytholmroyd after he had turkey dinosaurs for his tea'."
Another applauded: "Fantastic. Even with no singed crocheted blanket! They should sign you up for Series 4!"
A third laughed: "Simply brilliant, especially the last line. Uncannily good as Clare."
Even Tommy Lee Royce actor James Norton was left impressed, retweeting Kieran's vid with an approving, 'this is genius'.
