The UK Foreign Office has issued new advice for people travelling to and from the USA.
Earlier this year, new testing measures previously came back into play from January 5 if you enter the USA from certain other countries. This was due to a surge in covid cases in some parts of the world.
With millions of British nationals visiting the USA every year, travellers were urged to check entry requirements before their travel as things could "change with little warning".

The Foreign Office has provided a new update today, May 11. The government confirmed: "From May 12, 2023 Covid-19 vaccine requirements for air travellers to the USA will end. You will not need to show proof of vaccination against Covid-19, those traveling before May 12 must follow the current vaccination requirements."

Back in February, the UK Foreign Office again updated its advice with information on protests and potential violence. They said: "Protests are commonplace across the USA, some of which can become violent. Different jurisdictions may introduce curfews or emergency orders - you should follow the guidance and instructions of local authorities.
"If you do attend any peaceful protests, you should be mindful of your surroundings, move away if there are signs of trouble, and follow the instructions of local authorities."
