
Pakistan’s deputy prime minister and foreign minister, Ishaq Dar, on Saturday condemned what he called the “unwarranted attacks” on Iran by Israel and the United States, calling for an immediate halt to the conflict.
Dar made the remarks during a phone conversation with Iranian foreign minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, who contacted the Pakistani leader following the strikes on Iran.

According to a statement from the Foreign Office, the two leaders discussed the unfolding situation in Iran and its implications for the wider region.
"DPM/FM Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar@/MIshaqDar50 received a call from FM of Iran, Seyed Abbas Araghchi. They reviewed the evolving situation in Iran and the wider region. DPM/FM strongly condemned the unwarranted attacks against Iran and called for an immediate halt to escalation through urgent resumption of diplomacy to achieve a peaceful, negotiated resolution to the crisis," Pakistan's ministry of foreign affairs said through a post on X.
Separately, the Pakistan Embassy in Iran issued a travel advisory, urging Pakistani citizens to avoid all non-essential travel to the country for their safety.
The embassy advised Pakistanis currently in Iran to remain vigilant, limit unnecessary movements, and maintain regular contact with Pakistani diplomatic missions.
