Nassourdine Imavov scored a sensational second-round knockout of former UFC champ Israel Adesanya to put his name in the title picture in the run-up to next week’s showdown between champion Dricus Du Plessis and Sean Strickland.

The 30-year-old Frenchman lived up to his nickname of “The Sniper” by landing a lightning-fast precision punch with his right hand to signal the beginning of the end of the fight early in the second round.
