Iman and David Bowie's daughter, Alexandria 'Lexi' Zahra Jones, continues to carry on their legacy. Born on August 15, 2000, in New York City, Lexi was welcomed into the world by her parents with Bowie even assisting in the delivery and cutting the umbilical cord.

Lexi's name holds special significance to her parents. Bowie revealed that they had considered various names but settled on Alexandria and Zahra, with the former being a favorite of his and the latter being Iman's original name. The name choices were finalized the day before Lexi's birth.
