Police investigating an attempted burglary at a home in Gateshead have issued the image of a man they want to speak to.
It was reported that a man had tried the door handle of a home on Glanton Court in Dunston shortly before 1.30am on Monday, March 21. When failing to get in, he then tried the doors of other homes on the street without success.

The man then left the area and the incident was later reported to police, who subsequently launched an investigation. Police have now issued an appeal to the public, asking for their assistance.
They have also released the image of a man who was believed to have been in the area near Glanton Court in Dunston at the time of the attempted burglary and could have information which can assist them. It is believed he was in the company of another man who police would also like to speak to.
The man, or anyone who knows him, is asked to contact police by either calling 101 or using the ‘Tell Us Something’ page quoting crime reference 034572K/22.
