I’m so thrilled Sterling Point got renewed for Season 2. I binge-watched the Muskoka-set romance in a day with my Amazon Prime subscription, I fell in love with Annie and her sister (or adopted half-sister…it’s confusing), Ramona, and I desperately want more. However, now that the 2026 TV schedule hit is officially setting sail for a sophomore season, I realized they might be setting up a story involving the two sisters that I know I would hate.
When Sterling Point ended, Ramona and Annie, who are played by Amélie Hoeferle and Ella Rubin, respectively, made a huge decision. In a move that felt like something out of The Parent Trap, Annie decided to stay on the island and in the cottage Ramona lived in with their grandfather, while Ramona took Annie’s room in New York.
