On May 13, 2012, cops in Burbank, Illinois, entered an apartment and discovered a grisly scene: a bride in her gold sequined wedding dress, lying dead in a bathtub, covered in stab wounds.
This was 26-year-old Estrella Carrera, who had tied the knot at Chicago City Hall with Arnold Jiminez (now 44) the day before she was discovered dead. The investigation learned that after the wedding, the newlyweds had celebrated at a nightclub and returned to their apartment in the early hours of the morning.
