Ikea is finally set to open its highly anticipated Oxford Street store on Thursday, marking a significant step in the “rejuvenation” of the area as a shopping destination.
The new store, located in the former Topshop building, will span three floors and sell around 6,000 products, of which 3,500 can be carried away by customers immediately, and the rest ordered for home delivery, click and collect or collection off-site from lockers and other pick-up points.
