PANAJI: India coach Igor Stimac has named 50 probables for the Asian Cup in Qatar early next year with defender Anwar Ali the big absentee.

The Mohun Bagan Super Giant defender sustained an ankle injury during his team’s clash against Bashundhara Kings in the AFC Cup on October 24. The injury left him on crutches and, according to sources, he will only make a return to competitive football after the Asian Cup concludes.
