Bahamondes on the fight's key moment
“It was a hard fight. This dude never lost position – never. He’s a great martial artist. I’m impressed. He never lost position.”
Bahamondes on adjusting for the new opponent
“It was hard to get ready for this fight because he got the fight on three weeks’ notice. We really had to change the plans. We had another fighter before, and it was a completely different style – a little bit more wild, a little bit more going forward.
“It was a hard fight, but I showed the UFC I can win by submission, I can win by (punches) and I can fight three rounds.”
Bahamondes on what he wants next
“I want to be more active this year, so I’m going to be waiting for the UFC to call again. … If I can squeeze two more (fights in 2023), it would be awesome.”
