The world No. 1's victory over Elena Rybakina in the final marked a historic achievement, making her the first player to win the Doha title more than twice and the first woman to claim a singles title at an event for three consecutive years since Serena Williams achieved a similar feat in Miami from 2013 to 2015.
Swiatek, 22, expressed her surprise at the significance of her Doha hat trick, emphasizing her focus on playing tennis rather than breaking records. Despite initial challenges in the final match against Rybakina, Swiatek's resilience and skill led her to a 7-6 (8), 6-2 victory, securing her seventh 1000-level tournament title and 18th overall.
