The Australian Open singles brackets were revealed on Thursday, setting the stage for some exciting matches and potential upsets. With former champions returning from maternity breaks and the top-ranked players vying for the title, there are plenty of challenging first-round matchups to look forward to.

In the women's draw, top-ranked and reigning French Open champion Iga Swiatek faces a tough opening match against 2020 Australian Open champion Sofia Kenin. Swiatek will then potentially meet either 2016 winner Angelique Kerber or Danielle Collins in the second round, making her path to a first Australian Open title quite demanding. It is worth noting that Collins caused an upset in 2022 by defeating Swiatek in the semifinals.
