Gabriel Agbonlahor has fired a fresh dig at Jurgen Klopp following his comments earlier in the week.
The Liverpool boss made the headlines in his press conference on Friday when he spoke about comments made by Agbonlahor about Manchester United. The former Aston Villa striker was highly critical of United, with his remarks catching the attention of Klopp.
Man United are Liverpool’s next opponents in the Premier League, with a meeting coming on Monday night. Going into the clash at Old Trafford the Reds are without a win, while United have lost their opening two matches - and Klopp’s spoke about Agbonlahor's remarks on Friday.

"It was obviously not nice for United after the Brentford game," he said in his pre-United press conference on Friday. "We forget in these moments how good Brentford are, to be honest. I watched the first-half here then I drove home and listened to Talksport..
"Gabby Agbonlahor, he lost against us 6-0 in my first year (at Liverpool), I couldn't remember him as a mentality monster on the pitch (that day). What he said about United on that show, I was close to calling in! I was to calling in and telling him you forgot completely you were a player, it was unbelievable."
The pundit himself responded to the Liverpool manager's comments with a throwback to the pre-Klopp era where he scored at Anfield to help Villa to a 1-0 victory. "Flashback Friday - mentality to win 1-0 at Anfield..." he wrote on social media.
This exchange led to a fiery debate on Talksport, with Man United midfielder Bruno Fernandes also having his say. Now Agbonlahor has spoken at length about Klopp’s remarks, and has sent a message to the Liverpool boss.
“I woke up and I’ve never seen my phone blow up as much as it was,” said Agbonlahor, on Talksport on Saturday.
“I wondered what had happened and saw that Jurgen Klopp had said this.
“When I saw the clip I thought, ‘come on Jurgen, this is a bit too much isn’t it’.
“It’s great for the show [Klopp] listening to Talksport, all managers should be. But I’ve got bosses that I answer to, and if my reaction to Man United being 4-0 down was too much then I’m sure I would have heard about that.
“I don’t need Jurgen Klopp to tell me how to be a pundit, he needs to concentrate on being a manager. He wouldn’t take advice from me on being a coach, so I’m not going to take advice from Jurgen Klopp, but it’s settled now.
“It’s very strange for him to back Manchester United, but he might be playing mind games. Maybe if he doesn't get a result on Monday night then maybe he’ll make out that Brentford are better than they actually are, even though they lost to Fulham.
“Jurgen, if you’re listening, I’m available for a chat anytime. Let’s catch up in Liverpool and have a drink, no problem.”
