NEW DELHI: Opener Ishan Kishan scored a record-shattering double century in the third one-dayer against Bangladesh and the 24-year-old said he understands the level of competition for slots in the Indian cricket team and the necessity of cashing in on limited opportunities to the fullest.
Kishan scored the fastest double hundred in ODI history after getting a lucky break in absence of injured Rohit Sharma. Opening the innings, Ishan fired 210 off just 131 balls in India's big 227-run win over Bangladesh.
