Jordan Pickford believes the "quality will come" if Everton continue to produce battling displays.
The Blues have repeatedly displayed determination and spirit in recent weeks. At times they have struggled to produce a moment of magic, however, missing big chances against Burnley and Leicester City and failing to develop promising scenarios at Liverpool.
Pickford, whose heroic performance against Chelsea helped secure a vital three points, said Richarlison earned the winner through his hard work in the game to that point. And he suggested that was a template that could help the club avoid relegation.

The 28-year-old said: “It is going to be hard work over the final five games and it is on us as a team to keep working on the training pitch every day, giving 100-per-cent effort and commitment. If we do that, the quality will come.
"Richarlison worked hard for 45 minutes against Chelsea and had a couple of chances, then he got his reward with the goal in the 46th minute, because he'd continued working hard. Our character and effort and team spirit drove us on and, with the fans behind us like they were, it was incredible."
Pickford afforded special praise to the Everton supporters who created a passionate and intense atmosphere inside and outside Goodison Park - one fans are plotting to recreate when the side next plays at home, against Brentford.
He said: "They are very passionate and we are as players, too. To get that buzz on the bus [ when fans greeted team coach on Goodison Road ] is a great feeling, it touches you. It was about us putting on a performance and making sure the fans went home happy. I am a very passionate person and the result means to the world to me."
Pickford produced two standout saves to keep Chelsea at bay, first from Cesar Azpilicueta and then Antonio Rudiger. The display underlined his position as England number one, while his save from Azpilicueta was labelled "miraculous" by Alan Kelly, Everton’s goalkeeper coach.
Rather than dwell on his incredible display, Pickford is now looking ahead to five games that will shape Everton's destiny. He said: "We have to stay focused on getting results. That means preparing for the next match and our attentions now turn to Leicester on Sunday."
