‘If they run out of my Italian pasta. I’m suing: Woman spills HomeGoods ‘pasta’ secrets. Now shoppers are worried that the shelves will be cleared

User @dimitriasays on TikTok did not anticipate the massive response she received on her HomeGoods pasta video. On February 21, 2026, Dimitria Parisis casually dropped a video spotlighting the fully stacked and often neglected pasta section of HomeGoods. She captioned it “Grabbed a bag for some cheese pasta” and said she was influenced by “that food buyer on TikTok” to take the “HomeGoods pasta seriously.”

As of this writing, Dimitria Parisis’ video about HomeGoods pasta has received more than 500 K views, over a thousand shares and saves, and more than a hundred comments. In the comments, most people express shock and disbelief at being unaware for so long about the “good” pasta at HomeGoods. Others warn Parisis against spilling the secrets about HomeGoods pasta, fearing they will not be able to get their hands on it when they visit next.

People are asking user @dimitriasays to keep HomeGoods pasta a secret

Dimitria Parisis thought she was doing a social service by speaking about HomeGoods pasta, but it turns out that many people are unhappy with her speaking on the matter. This is mostly because they believe that with the popularity of Parisi’s video, many people would flock to the stores and empty out the shelves, and if this continues, it would lead to price increases and lesser availability. Another reason some people are reluctant to let others know about HomeGoods pasta is that they do not want others to know that they are purchasing food items from there, as it leads to a somewhat negative reputation.

Dimitria Parisis took cognisance of all the comments warning her against spilling the secrets about HomeGoods pasta and made another video, uploading it on TikTok a week ago. In it, while pointing to her video, she said, “Never in my wildest dreams did I think a hundred people were buying pasta from HomeGoods,” adding, “Your friends, your neighbors, your colleagues—they’re buying pasta at HomeGoods, and they don’t want you to know.”

People have varied reactions to user @dimitriasays’s HomeGoods pasta video

As previously highlighted, Dimitria Parisis’s video has received considerable traction on TikTok. Many people have commented under her post. User @spetzidiet wrote, “Not even joking but some of my favorite pastas i used to buy in Italy, I’ve only ever been able to find in HomeGoods. Lots of amazing pastas and sauces at mine! And looks like at yours also!!” User @kirbwithfeet wrote, “I thought it was random brands until I actually went to Italy and then came back and saw homegoods selling the same stuff the Italian stores had. It’s good pasta!”

User @theemozzarella, while expressing dissatisfaction over people gradually learning about HomeGoods pasta, wrote, “i’m so mad people are catching on, if they run out of my italian pasta. i’m suing.” User @sincerelylexyy, echoing a similar sentiment, wrote, “damn it he’s ruined my pasta secret.”

Less known of items in HomeGoods that are actually nice

An article published on Allrecipes on February 28, 2025, highlights that many people are overlooking several HomeGoods products. One of these is snacks, which are available in a variety of options and are often priced lower than they are at local grocery stores. Another popular item is coffee, and customers have the option to purchase either coffee grounds or whole beans, and they are also typically priced affordably.

Additionally, HomeGoods offers a range of coffee syrups and spices that are worth trying, and consumers can choose from a wide selection. The syrups can enhance the flavour of coffee, giving it a nice kick. Similarly, the spice options are also extensive, allowing for experimentation and the opportunity to discover new flavour profiles.
