Manchester City winger Riyad Mahrez has admitted Liverpool losing between now and the end of the Premier League season would represent 'a big week' for Pep Guardiola's side.
The Reds reduced the points gap to the Sky Blues back to three points after beating Brighton on Saturday afternoon, extending the team's winning streak to eight matches in the top-flight.
City will now hope to issue a response of their own on Monday evening when they take on Crystal Palace, or face the prospect of losing top spot in the division.
