‘If they don’t want to show the video, that tells me something’: Texas mom demands answers after officer allegedly grabs her second grader by the neck

A Texas mother named Rebecca Briscoe is demanding answers after her 8-year-old son was allegedly grabbed by the neck by a school resource officer at MacGregor Elementary School. The incident has sparked a wider debate about the role of school resource officers and the need for transparency when it comes to how students are treated on school grounds.

Briscoe says the incident happened when she arrived at the school to pick up her son and heard him screaming. Her son told her that he “couldn’t breathe” and that the school resource officer had choked him. Briscoe says she reviewed the school’s surveillance footage, which shows her son sitting alone on a bench before the officer approached him without any clear reason, reports The Nerd Stash.
