If the season ended today, Broncos would pick 4th overall in 2024 NFL draft

Even after a win on Sunday, the Denver Broncos are still on pace to secure a top-five pick in the 2024 NFL draft.

If the season ended today, the 1-3 Broncos would be set to pick fourth overall in April’s draft. The 0-4 Chicago Bears are now the favorites to land the No. 1 overall pick after losing to Denver in Week 4.

The only other winless team remaining is the Carolina Panthers, and their first-round pick belongs to the Bears via the Bryce Young trade. Chicago now has a realistic chance to land the top two draft picks.

Here’s a look at the current order of the top ten picks in 2024, courtesy of Tankathon.com:

1. Chicago Bears (0-4)
2. Chicago Bears (via Panthers, 0-4)
3. Las Vegas Raiders (1-3)
4. Denver Broncos (1-3)
5. Minnesota Vikings (1-3)
6. New York Jets (1-3)
7. New England Patriots (1-3)
8. Cincinnati Bengals (1-3)
9. Arizona Cardinals (1-3)
10. New York Giants (1-3)

The Broncos currently have six picks to use in the 2024 NFL draft.

Round 1: own pick
Round 3: own or Saints (Sean Payton trade)
Round 4: own or Dolphins (Bradley Chubb trade)
Round 5: own pick
Round 5: via Jets (Jacob Martin trade)
Round 7: own or via Rams (Kenny Young trade)

The favorite to be picked No. 1 overall in 2024 is USC quarterback Caleb Williams, who has led the Trojans to a 5-0 start this fall.

The 2024 NFL draft will be held in Detroit from April 25-27.
