Twitch has another backlash on its hands, this time for forcibly opting-in all of its users to wanton content theft.
Twitch is a generally awful platform. The business has been a major drag on Amazon's bottom line since they acquired the brand losing billions of dollars year in, year out. Amazon has simply been unable to figure out how to adequately monetize the platform in a video streaming universe dominated by YouTube and Google ads, but its treatment of its userbase and content creators has hardly helped.
