ICSE, ISC Semester-I results today

ISC CISCE

KOLKATA: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination's Semester 1 results for Class X (ICSE) and Class XII (ISC) board exams will be declared on Monday at 10am. Students can download their marksheets from the council's official website cisce.org.

School heads indicated they expected better results due to the shorter syllabus in the semester format. Basanti Biswas, principal of Calcutta Girls' High School, said, "I think students are happier with the semester system because the syllabus is smaller." Supriyo Dhar, secretary of La Martiniere School, agreed saying, "Since the syllabus is divided into half, it is easier to study, so we expect favourable results this year."
