Iceland shoppers who put their muscles to the test and lift the lid on its 'heaviest ever freezer' can win its entire contents. The first person to successfully open the freezer will win a year’s supply of Myprotein meals.
Contents of the freezer include Myprotein Beef Lasagne, Myprotein Breakfast Wrap and Myprotein Salt & Pepper Chicken. The first 30 to have a go will also go home with a goodie bag from the fitness nutrition firm.
An Iceland spokesperson said, "We wanted to something really unique to celebrate our Myprotein partnership and what better way than testing the nation’s muscles? Lifting the freezer lid is no easy feat and all of us in store have so far tried and failed so we’re excited to see someone take home the prize."
The first person to try out the 'Lift It to Win It' challenge was Lift It to Win It’ was Love Island heavyweight, Alex Bowen. The challenge is at Iceland's Food Warehouse store in Tottenham, London.
He said: "Lifting the lid on the world’s heaviest freezer is something that I seriously had to train for, but with a years’ worth of Myprotein meals on the line, it was worth the challenge. As an Iceland shopper myself, I love to see high protein options that save time and don’t break the bank.
"Anyone who’s serious about weightlifting should come down to Iceland’s Food Warehouse in Tottenham and give it a go – the first 30 to give it a go will get rewarded so there’s nothing to lose, only gains."
