Iceland shoppers rave over 'unreal' snack that has them 'clearing the freezer'

Iceland has sent taste buds tingling with the arrival of a new TGI Friday's snack that shoppers are rushing to make room in their freezers for.

The popular supermarket chain has become well known for its wide variety of restaurant branded snacks, with its TGI's range being a regular hit among shoppers. And now the collaboration with the American food chain has resulted in a brand new snack that has sent shoppers salivating.

As reported by the Liverpool Echo, dedicated foodie social media account Newfoodsuk shared that Iceland has introduced the new BBQ pulled pork loaded hash browns which can be enjoyed as a snack or a side.

Priced online at just £3.50 for a 400g box, the new item has gone down a storm with shoppers for combining two of our favourite things - hash browns and cheese.

Described as hash brown bites that are topped with BBQ pulled pork and finished with a dash of nacho cheese, the new snack has been well received by hungry shoppers online.

Newfoodsuk shared the hash brown bites in a post captioned: "New TGI Fridays BBQ Pulled Pork Loaded Hash Browns at Iceland!"

The supermarket's collaboration with TGI's has long produced some freezer favourites that includes sesame chicken strips and boneless wings - and the latest looks to be another fan favourite.

The post quickly gained over 2,000 likes and nearly 6,000 comments, with one shopper commenting: "Need to clear the freezer for an Iceland haul lol."

A second exclaimed: "These sound so great. Need to try!"

A third shopper commented: "These are a bit of me, look unreal."

A fourth replied: "Why do I keep seeing amazing things like this when I'm trying to be good?"

While a fifth said: "Icelands well the best xxx."
