The frozen food chain is joining forces with the Rothesay Foundation, launching the ‘Summer Cheer’ campaign this week.
Pensioners across the country will be able to receive a £30 voucher towards their shopping from Iceland, as the cost of living continues to rise.
The store has teamed up with The Rothesay Foundation, launching the ‘Summer Cheer’ campaign which will be available until September 16.

Pensioners who rely solely on state pensions, and live independently or with a carer, are eligible for a £30 voucher that can be used towards ‘food and other essentials’. News of the voucher comes just after the brand launched another scheme applying to anyone over the age of 60.
In May, they became the first supermarket chain to offer anyone over 60 a 10% discount on shopping every Tuesday. Iceland have said that anyone eligible for the £30 voucher can also use this in conjunction with the 10% Tuesday discount.
The voucher is accepted in any of Iceland’s 296 stores. Richard Walker, managing director of Iceland Foods, said: “Since the launch of the partnership last Christmas, the cost of living crisis has taken hold of the UK, and now more than ever people are struggling to access the food they need.
“No one should ever have to worry about how they are going to eat or drink, and we hope that the support we can offer across the UK will help pensioners access and enjoy a worry free meal during this time.”
