Food retailer Iceland has confirmed it will be closing its store in Berwick town centre.
The supermarket, which announced it would be closing stores across the country, will be closing the shop on April 22 before its lease expires this summer.
It comes after the retailer opened The Food Warehouse at Loaning Meadows Retail Park at the end of last year.

An Iceland spokeswoman said: "The Berwick-upon-Tweed town centre store is scheduled to close on 22 April, ahead of its lease expiring this summer. We expect that many of our customers will choose to shop at the recently opened branch of The Food Warehouse on the Loaning Meadows Retail Park.
"Across Iceland and The Food Warehouse we have a portfolio of over UK 1,000 stores and continually review the retail experience offered to our customers."
There are around 500 Iceland branches and 153 Food Warehouse stores in the UK. Iceland specialises in frozen foods but has diversified its offering in recent years.
For the six months up to September, the company recorded an operating loss of £4m.
Iceland boss Richard Walker previously warned it had been forced to halt new store openings as it dealt with a £20m increase in its energy bills.
It is the latest store to close in Berwick town centre, with Home Bargains shutting after it opened a bigger premises in Loaning Meadows Retail Park.
