Vice President JD Vance has launched a scathing and controversial defence of a federal agent following the fatal shooting of a Minneapolis mother, described by the administration as a 'tragedy of her own making'.

Renee Nicole Good, 37, was shot and killed by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent Jonathan Ross on Wednesday, 7 January 2026, in a snowy residential neighbourhood.
