A federal grand jury indicted an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer for lying about a shooting that wounded a Venezuelan man and left a Minneapolis neighbourhood in uproar.

The case against Christian Castro is one of the few instances in which the Department of Justice has moved to hold an ICE agent criminally accountable during President Donald Trump's mass deportation drive.
