Ice Magic headed to Bangkok

Ice Magic: Fantasy On Ice Apollo Entertainment Media

Ice Magic: Fantasy On Ice, presented by Apollo Entertainment Media, is set to cool things down in Bangkok from April 18 to July 16 with sub-zero temperatures for real ice and snow activities. Held at The Market Bangkok, this will be the winter playground's first-ever appearance in Thailand. It also will be the largest pop-up ice and snow attraction ever constructed in the country.

The tentage, which stands at 11.5m tall and covers an area of 3,000m², will be separated into ice and snow zones, with unique attractions within each.

Ice Magic: Fantasy On Ice has been an iconic annual event hosted in Beijing since 2008, timed with Beijing's first snowfall every year (excluding years during the pandemic). Apollo Entertainment Media previously brought the event to Singapore in December 2022 and plans to bring it to more countries in the region.

Tickets to Ice Magic: Fantasy On Ice are now available for purchase, with a limited offering of early-bird tickets and packages available until April 17.

Roman baths at Six Senses Rome.

Six Senses Rome opens in Eternal City

Nestled in the beating heart of the Eternal City, Six Senses Rome opened its doors in the historical Palazzo Salviati Cesi Mellini last week. The opening likewise coincides with completion of renovations of the magnificent façade of adjacent San Marcello al Corso church, the first sustainability project sponsored by the hotel.

The Palazzo housing Six Senses Rome is a treasure trove of wonders, from the monumental marble staircase with its decorative skylight to the newly restored 600-year-old columns at the main entrance. A large baptismal bath, dating back to the 4th century, was uncovered during archaeological excavations in the early 1900s and is now visible beneath the glass floor tiles of BIVIUM Restaurant-Café-Bar, a spot where all paths cross.
