ICC World Cup: Lahiru Kumara injured, Sri Lanka bring in Dushmantha Chameera

PUNE: Right-arm pacer and hero in Sri Lanka’s win against England, Lahiru Kumara, has been ruled out of the remaining matches of the World Cup due to a left thigh muscle injury sustained during their training on Saturday in Pune, informed an ICC release.

Right-arm pacer Dushmantha Chameera has been called in as the replacement for Lahiru. Chameera, 31, has taken 50 wickets from the 44 ODIs played for Sri Lanka.
