India wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan has climbed to the No. 1 position in the latest ICC men’s T20I batting rankings, overtaking teammate Abhishek Sharma.
Kishan, with 876 rating points, moved to the top on the back of his consistent performances at the T20 World Cup earlier this year, where he scored 317 runs at a strike rate close to 200, including a Player of the Match effort against Pakistan in Colombo. Abhishek, who had held the top spot for nearly 12 months, now sits second with 869 points.
