A fight believed to have involved two British tourists on a boat in Ibiza is reported to have ended up with two people in the sea.
Rubbish bins were used as weapons on the boat's dock in the San Antonio resort, which is popular with tourists.
The fight was reportedly over by the time police had arrived and no arrests were made after the scrap on Wednesday, September 14.
Shocking footage of the fight showed a man launching a bin at a boat staff member, who then throws it back at him.
The firm Nautilus Ibiza was forced to cancel the sunset cruise due to the unsavoury scenes, and said around 20 people were involved in the mass brawl at about 5.30 in the evening.
Local reports described the fight participants as "mainly British tourists" and was sparked when a bouncer stopped a tourist from boarding the vessel due to being too drunk.
It is understood his friends responded by attacking the security staff.
In San Antonio, left-wing councillor Antonio Lorenzo used the footage of the fight to criticise a decision not to include the resort in a 'drunken tourism' decree.
Covering the nearby West End area, the rules impose restrictions on the purchase of alcohol.
Lorenzo said to town mayor Antonio Lorenzo: "They voted no to including the port and the Arenal in the area of excesses and combatting party boats and today we have these images of the customers of this type of offer.
"It’s very clear who you’re governing for. There is an alternative."
Though no serious injuries were caused in the brawl, a number of recent reports involving Brits abroad have left local politicians concerned.
A group of British women appeared to be shoved to the floor by bouncers in Marbella in August, while furniture was shown being chucked around by about 20 men in the Algarve, Portugal.
Scared staff were forced to shield themselves from the flying tables and chairs in a fight that broke out between two groups of people.
As the manager of the Aloha bar in Portimao tried to intervene, the Brits turned on him instead, and began throwing the furniture for at least a minute before leaving.
Bar manager Ricardo Teixeria said: "According to the authorities, some of foreign nationality, namely Irish and English, were involved."
"It is unusual to have this kind of problem. Portimao is a calm city and we don't normally have these issues with foreigners or locals."
Another incident in a bar in Mykonos saw a brawl break out when a professional boxer took on three drunken party-seekers.
