Romanian former La Liga star Gica Craioveanu has urged Ianis Hagi to move to Celta Vigo because Spanish football would suit the Rangers man.
Hagi was linked with a move to Celta this week after limited time in the Rangers first team since he recovered from a serious knee injury that kept him out for 13 months.
The son of former Barcelona and Real Madrid icon Gheorghe was identified as a possible transfer target for the summer by Celta's football advisor, Luis Campos, who also works for PSG.
And ex-Real Sociedad, Villarreal and Getafe ace Craioveanu, who spent 11 years as a player in La Liga and played with Hagi's dad for Romania, believes it would be the ideal move for Hagi junior.
He said: "A move to Celta Vigo would suit Ianis Hagi. I would be delighted if this move went through. It's certainly possible and La Liga would definitely suit Ianis' style of play. And Celta are a very good team too.
"Even going back to the days when they had Valery Karpin in their team and played in the Champions League, they have always been a well-run club.
"So personally, I hope the transfer goes through."
Meanwhile, Ryan Kent must play for Rangers against Aberdeen and Celtic before the end of this month. That's the viewpoint of Barry Ferguson.
The former Ibrox skipper doesn't care if the Englishman looks set to leave the club come the summer, he wants Michael Beale to play his best players available to him.
The 26-year-old's deal at Rangers expires come the end of the season and there's been no sign yet of the winger extending his stay.
