Sean Dyche has reportedly sent his friend and former Burnley assistant manager Ian Woan to watch Premier League clubs who could be looking for a new manager, including Nottingham Forest.
The former Clarets boss has been out of work since his sacking at Turf Moor in April. And The Sun claims that when Dyche returns to management, he will once again form a team with former Forest star Woan.
Woan, the reports says, has attended recent Forest and Leicester City games, just in case either Steve Cooper or Brendan Rodgers depart in the coming weeks.
Reds manager Cooper looked set to go after their poor start to the season, but has since been handed a new three-year-deal at the City Ground. City boss Rodgers is also under huge pressure after securing just one win in the first 10 games of the season.

And Sun reporter Alan Nixon says Dyche will continue to send Woan, who was with him at Turf Moor for more than a decade, to watch Forest "in case their situation changes".
He writes: "Woan has been spying on the likes of Leicester and even Nottingham Forest in case the axe falls during the coming weeks."
Speaking on the possibility of returning to football, Dyche told Kammy & Ben's Proper Football Podcast: "I think I’ve always been open-minded, I’ve never been pressured. I played most of my football outside the Premier League - Championship, Leagues 1 and 2 - so I’ve never been that pressured about that.
"I think the idea of the job - what it entails, what club it is - I think I’d afford myself a window because I did seven out of eight seasons in the Premier League. So I think I’d at least afford myself a window to see if a Premier League club want to take me and want me to do what they want me to do, or want me to do what they need me to do.
"There’s not that many British managers who’ve done seven seasons [in the Premier League] if you look at the history of it. It’s fair to say I’ve got a decent bank of knowledge that I think I could offer something, so therefore, I’ll have a window to wait and see."
Woan made more than 200 appearances on the wing for Forest in the early 1990s, scoring 41 goals, while Dyche was a youth team player at the City Ground around the same time.
