Ian Cathro insists he is determined to restore fallen giants Saint-Etienne to the top of French football after he continued his perfect start as boss.
The former Hearts boss was appointed as manager in the summer after impressing in Portugal with Estoril.
And he's guided his new side to top of Ligue 2 in France with five league wins out of five.
Now Cathro wants to stay at the ten-times champions long term.
He said: "My idea is that this is a long-term project and I want to stay at this club for as long as possible.
"My message to the fans is that I will do everything in my power to help this club, which truly has very few equals in France, get back to the top.
"The atmosphere at the stadium is incredible.
