Iain Sterling has revealed why there are so many arguments within the Love Island cast on the ITV2 show.
Iain, who is the series commentator, believes the villa is a social experiment for a bunch of conventionally good-looking individuals, putting them in a situation where they are no longer the centre of attention and examining how they handle it.
Iain explained on Heart Radio yesterday that most islanders crumble under pressure. He said: “They’re all attractive young people and they just aren’t used to not being the most desirable person in the room.

"I think it’s quite an interesting psychological journey actually when you put loads of people who are the best-looking person and they’ve always been the best-looking person. And when you are the best-looking person, the way you’re treated is very different…
“There's all this talk of privilege nowadays, handsome privilege is not recognised enough. So, it’s weird that they then have to go ‘well what am I if I’m not the best looking one?”
Iain’s comments come after the recent drama in the villa involving Mitchel, Sammy and Zachariah who are all after the attention of one girl - Molly. Over the past few nights, Molly has been the centre of viewers' TV screens as she explores different connections.
However, after Tyrique, Mitchell and Zachariah were all picked for a date by the two new bombshells, body language expert Darren Stanton revealed Molly Marsh felt ‘jealous’ and ‘threatened’ as she watched. Viewers witnessed islander Molly peering through the balcony to watch Zach and Mitchel on their dates.
