We all know the Northern Quarter is trendy. Throw a stick and it will probably land in an almond flat white served in a small glass the size of a thimble.
So it's no surprise that the area is home to one of the world's coolest charity shops - where you can easily find a frock suitable for a fashionista.
The Oxfam Vintage Store on Oldham Street is smaller than the main 'Emporium' down the road. It stocks the best of the charity's vintage stock at cut-down prices.

Here's what she had to say...
- Where’s your favourite hidden gem?
I feel like Angel Meadows is not that hidden, but it’s my favourite. It’s so close to the Arndale for an outdoorsy place.
- What’s your favourite view of the city or in the city?
Over in New Islington, by the tram stop. The view of the fields and canal is so pretty. I used to live there.
- Where’s best to go for your dinner in town?
Crazy Pedro’s, if I’m feeling extravagant.
- Where would you take someone to show them the real Manchester?
Probably here and Tib Street and the general Northern Quarter. There’s more going on.
- What’s your favourite Mancunian neighbourhood?
I have to say NQ, because I’m on Tib Street now.
- What are the five words that best describe the city?
Exciting, trendy, big, fun, and charismatic.
- City or United?
Neither.
- Your favourite city pub is…?
Abel Heywood.
- Liam or Noel?
Can I say neither again?
- Who is your favourite city ‘character’?
Boombox Barry, obviously!
- What’s the one thing you’d add to Manchester if you could…
More pedestrianised areas of the Northern Quarter. I’m fed up of nearly getting run over when I go to a bar.
