For most people, Disneyland is a magical getaway where you can meet your favourite animated movie characters - but for others, it's just another day at work. One woman who worked at Disneyland Park in California, America, has shared what it's really like working for the Mouse as one of the most popular princesses in the park.
She explained how she worked as Snow White for a year after auditioning for a 'face role' while she was studying English at college. But while she had a mostly positive experience, she did have to put up with some questionable behaviour from visitors and adhere to princess-like beauty standards.
She shared how "creepy dads" hit on her in front of their wives and children - and claim some would attempt to touch her inappropriately.
She said: "I've had a lot of people, mostly guys, ask to take a picture with me and when they come up next to me, they put their hand right on my bum.
"There's been a few occasions where guys and sometimes girls have come up to me and made explicit comments. Staying in character and trying to make sure kids don't notice that it happened can be difficult."
When it came to her child visitors, she said the "worst" she experienced was "accidental boob grabs", and infants pulling on her wig.
She added on Reddit: "It's scary because you think it's going to come right off, but wig pins work wonders. It still hurts though."
The former Disney princess claims parents are usually worse to deal with than "bratty" children, saying the youngsters are still learning how to act in certain situations but adults should know better.
"Parents can get impatient and rude after waiting in line for 45 plus minutes - but there are some real bratty kids that I've had to deal with too," she added.
"As a character host, we can never underestimate how badly people obsess over their favourite characters.
"People are crazy and they'll say and/or do anything to get an interaction. Sometimes it's flattering and sometimes it's scary."
When asked what's the best thing about playing a Disney princess, she said: "I'd like to be able to say something like seeing the smiles on kids' faces was the best part - and that was definitely a perk, don't get me wrong.
"But honestly, the best part of playing a face character was the satisfaction of knowing that I was Snow White, and I beat out a lot of other beautiful, talented girls for the part.
"I won't say any names, but there was a girl who played Tinkerbell that was just absolutely unbearable. Luckily we didn't cross paths much."
She says all the face characters are upheld to princess-like beauty standards and have to ensure they have cleans shaven armpits when they arrive at the park for their shift.
However, she says not all characters are able to uphold the correct hygiene standards due to the size and weight of their costumes.
"I've always thought that being in the full body costumes was harder than being a face character, and I don't think I'm cut out for it," she said.
"The costumes are kind of heavy, and you obviously have to wear something under them, so sweat is one thing. But I've encountered plenty of crew members who just don't care about personal hygiene."
Despite everything, she remains thankful to have had the opportunity to work at Disneyland - and claims the pros outweigh the cons.
She said: "The pay is not much more than minimum wage. Depending on what you want to do later in life, I think it could look very good on a resume.
"I've considered going back to character performing after I graduate. In the long run I'd like to become a high school English teacher - but I don't think they'll care much that I was a princess once upon a time."
