'I went on RTE First Dates Ireland - here's what it was like'

First Dates Ireland has returned to RTE for its eighth season, with episodes airing every Thursday night at 9.30pm.

The popular dating shows sees romantic hopefuls enter the First Dates Ireland restaurant in central Dublin for a date with someone they've never met before.

The couple are then interviewed together and asked whether or not they would like to see each other again.
