Sadiqul Islam left his home with his family in the UK for a trip to Asia last summer - that ended with all his close relatives dead.
A carbon monoxide leak inthe flat they were staying in killed his father and broher. Eleven days after the freak gas accident, Sadiqul's sister passed away and a few months later, as if the 25-year-old had not suffered enough, he lost his mum due to injuries sustained from the same leak, reports WalesOnline.
"Entering the house I was thinking how I should be with my family but instead I am by myself," reflects Sadiqul as he returned to his home in Cardiff. Sadiqul was on a trip to Bangladesh in July 2022 with his parents and two younger siblings when there was a carbon monoxide leak in the flat they were staying in.
