I like to think that the mess of books, photos, and miscellaneous objects that exists under my bed is none of my business. But unfortunately, it is. Just the other day, I spent over an hour sprawled out on my bedroom floor trying to organize that terrifying abyss, and I came to the realization – I am in desperate need of an underbed storage solution that isn't just unsightly plastic boxes.
Now, as a Style Editor who is very picky, I'm only receptive to storage ideas that are chic. Plastic storage containers are not welcome in my home. Even for underbed storage that probably won't be visible most of the time, I need something that looks the part.
