Simon Jordan has said that he has become a “massive advocate for Manchester City” after criticism from Jurgen Klopp.

Liverpool are already busy preparing for a vital week in their season, with the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final against Benfica kicking-off on Tuesday. That will then be followed by a crucial top of the table clash with Manchester City at the weekend.

And former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan has said he will be supporting Manchester City in Sunday’s meeting at the Etihad, following recent comments from the Liverpool boss.
