I'm all for a cozy Valentine's Day meal and some playful decor, but I don't love forking out for novelty pieces that I'll only use once a year. Fortunately, I'm always on the hunt for a deal – and I've found a selection of chic Valentine's pieces hiding in Pottery Barn's tabletop clearance sale, that you'll actually want to use all year.
There's certainly a place for fun, themed tableware, but generally I prefer to seek out more versatile pieces that won't take up unnecessary space in my hosting closet. To me, the perfect Valentine's Day tablescape combines the fun, whimsical feel of the day with a more sophisticated design edge – and this year, Pottery Barn has nailed the brief. You'll find everything from heart place card holders to heart serving platters, all at unbeatable prices right now.
