When you hear about the latest food trend, you can always expect it to be something unique or wacky.
Chicken wings and Coca-Cola are obviously great individually but what would Coco-Cola-flavoured wings taste like? Many users on TikTok have been sharing their experiences on the wings including famous musician, Shenseea.
I decided it was time to try a crazy food combo and this particular recipe is not difficult to follow. Firstly, I washed the raw chicken wings before adding my favourite seasonings consisting of salt, pepper, garlic, chicken seasoning, and a light touch of sweet chilli sauce.

I then added the wings on medium heat to a wok until the wings were slightly brown on each side. Now comes the magic part! I then added the Coca-Cola and set it on medium-high heat until the cola evaporated.
Voila! The wings were complete. Overall, the process took around 30 minutes without any prep.
All that awaited is the taste test. Before I took a bite, I was not expecting this to taste good, and quite frankly, I was thinking this could be a waste of money that could have been used for something else.
I was completely wrong. The wings had an amazing flavour combining the sweetness from the Coca-Cola and sweet chilli sauce and the saltiness of the seasoning.
After each wing, I wanted another. It totally caught me off guard and was fairly easy to make.
Overall, I think these wings were a must-try for any chicken wing lover. You can combine them with countless sides and the flavour is very rich and exciting with an easy recipe to follow. Overall nine out of 10.
