With Christmas just over two weeks away, workplaces Christmas parties are in full swing, whether that be a meal out or something held in the office. For many, having a small bash at the office seems like a better use of money than heading out into town. So I went to M&S to see what it had to offer this year.
The first thing I decided to pick up and try was the reindeer steamed buns, which are bao buns filled with vegetables in a hoisin sauce. Cooked in the microwave, you only need to wait two minutes to try them.
On first look, they look tasty and that doesn’t change when you take a bite into them. The flavours of the filling was divine, the hoisin sauce was gorgeous and the vegetables had just the right amount of crunch left. The only downside was the chewiness of the bun itself, but that may be the way they’re supposed to be.
