Bristol has plenty of places offering brunch but the newest addition to this competitive market is Coppa. Part of a small chain - and the only one in the South West - the Clifton Village branch is one of just three Coppas to be serving the new brunch menu.
Brunch is served at Coppa on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays from 9am until 3pm. With a full lunch menu starting around 11.30am, that’s a lot of extra work for the kitchen and the restaurant and pavement tables were busy by 11am when we sat down for brunch.
Being a bit of a traditionalist, I’m not the biggest brunch fan to be honest. Give me a proper breakfast and a long lunch anytime over the combined late morning alternative.
